Palisade, Colorado and Surrounding Area

Wine Country Inn, located in the heart of Colorado’s popular wine industry in Palisade, has much to offer harried city dwellers. Imagine rocking on our porches or your personal patio and sipping a glass of wine produced from grapes grown right on the property. Now, that’s a Vineyard Retreat!

After you’ve relaxed in our hot tub or cooled off in our seasonal pool, you will be ready to visit orchards, wineries, shops or galleries nearby, then take in dinner at the Inn or local restaurant. Year-around events make life interesting in Palisade, no matter the time of the year.

Even when the weather chills down, our wineries and local fruit producers have tasting and showrooms with wonderful products for you to sample and purchase. Once you’ve caught your breath and rested up, there are adventures awaiting for you on our bike trails, on the beautiful alpine Grand Mesa or the magnificent Colorado River.

We’re a tank of gas away from Denver and Salt Lake City or a few hours flight from most points in the U.S.

Grand Valley Wineries & Vineyards

As our Wine Estate, Grande River Vineyards next door is a convenient stop to taste our newest releases or just to hang out in the comfortable Tasting Room or Cozy Loft. In summer, guests enjoy our outdoor porches or the Pavilion on the lawn. GRV offers food along with our wine, private winery tours and catered small events.

The Legacy Wine Club can ship your bottles or case purchases to you to most states in the USA. If you want gifts to take home, we also have a wide selection of area specialty foods, T-shirts and gear and other wine-themed souvenirs.

When you leave our Wine Estate Gateway to Palisade, we invite you to visit the two dozen or more wineries in our Grand Valley AVA.

Local Events

Clearly, Peachfest in August and Winefest in September are the premier events of the year because they epitomize what makes Palisade unique: peaches and wine. The themes may change, but the enthusiasm of citizens is what buoys the community throughout the year.
